WELCOME TO THE NEW PIKA

We built the AI creative platform Creatives deserve.
September 17, 2026. By the Pika Team
AI creative tools haven’t been built to serve actual Creatives. So we built one that does.
Today, we’re unveiling the new Pika: an AI creative platform made for and by Creatives. It brings video, image, and sound creation into one place, with the world’s leading gen media models underneath, and focused creative apps on top.
It’s simple. Comprehensive. And it’s designed for outputs that meet the exacting standards of creative professionals.
We’re building AI for the future of creative work. The new Pika is our biggest step yet.
Try the new Pika yourself and see what we mean.

Building for the way creatives work

We’ve spent a lot of time listening to what Creatives find frustrating about AI—and what they actually need from it. The tools have become more powerful. But more powerful has too often meant more subscriptions, more model homework, more fine print, and more time learning the tool instead of making the thing.
The answer wasn’t another blank prompt box or a wall of model names. It was a new platform designed to be intuitive for any creative need, from specific tasks to complete outputs. You decide how much of your process you want AI to handle.

The best models, minus the model homework

Some Creatives follow every model release and benchmark. Most don’t—and we think they shouldn’t have to. On the new Pika, models are named when you want them and invisible when you don’t, so you can spend less time comparing specs and more time making decisions that require your taste.
The apps utilize the best video, image, and sound models on the market, including Seedance, GPT Image, MiniMax H3, Pika’s own models, and more. But the apps will automatically use the model best suited to your task.
If you want more control, you can still choose a specific model yourself.

Apps for the whole job—or just the part you need

Not everyone needs a fully AI-generated output. The new Pika launches with 25+ creative apps across video, image, and sound. Some make a complete project; others solve one focused task.
A few places to start:
  • Video Studio: Attach up to 50 characters, products, settings, and styles, then @mention them in your prompt. Create a short clip or a multi-shot video up to three minutes long, with sound.
  • Relight Media: Rebuild the light and shadow in a photo or video while preserving its subject, framing, and motion.
  • Product Shot: Turn a product image—even one taken on a phone—into professionally lit and styled campaign imagery.
  • Camera Director: Reshoot an existing scene from new angles, from extreme wide to close-up, while preserving the scene itself.
There are also apps for ads, short films, post-production changes, concept images, motion, color, characters, soundtracks, and more. The point isn’t to replace the creative process with one button. It’s to give that process better tools.

High artistic quality as the baseline

Creatives don’t want AI content that looks like AI.
Quality is more than resolution. It’s intentional lighting, believable motion, strong composition, and a result that belongs in the world you’re making.
Our creative team has tuned Pika’s tools, presets, and workflows to help make better outputs the default. AI should rise to your standards—not ask you to lower them.

The lowest pricing. Without gimmicks.

Gen media pricing—and its promotional tricks—have gotten out of control. We’re doing it differently.
We keep markups as low as we can. As of today (because literally, who knows what will happen in the space tomorrow) Seedance generations on Pika are half the price of other creation platforms. Every user gets every model and apps; the best tools aren’t gated behind higher-tier plans.
Plans differ only by credits and concurrency. Higher plans can run more generations at once, but we don’t cap generation speed for anyone. No bait and switch. No fake unlimited. No advanced math.

For our OG Pika members: same login, same plan, new experience

If you’ve been creating with Pika already, first of all, thank you! We owe so much to our original users, and we hope this new product makes you happy. Secondly, we want you to know that you don’t need to start over:
  • Your account still works. Use the same login—no registration, re-subscription, or manual migration.
  • Your subscription carries over. Same plan, same price. During the transition, pika.art is home to the new Pika and the previous interface remains at old.pika.art for a few more weeks. We’ll give you notice before it’s phased out.
  • Your library comes with you. Paid subscribers’ past generations will appear in an “OG Pika” project.
  • We’ll show you around. A first-login tour points out your library, apps, and inspiration.
Please reach out and let us know if we can help you in any way. We also want to hear what you think!

Make it happen here.

The New Pika is for complete outputs and the small, essential tasks between an idea and the finished work. It’s built on a simple belief: outstanding AI output should be available to people with the taste and ideas to use it—not only those with time to study every model, or money to subscribe to every platform.
This is the new Pika. And it’s only the beginning. Try it yourself, and let us know how we can make it even better.
