  • Lead the UI/UX design process from concept to implementation for our product, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Work closely with product managers, technical engineers, and our creative team to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to improve designs based on user insight.
  • Maintain and evolve design system and style guide to ensure product scalability and consistency.
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

Founding Recruiter

Summary:

As our recruiter, you’ll shape the future of Pika’s team by managing the full recruitment cycle, with a focus on sourcing and hiring top technical and creative talent. Beyond sourcing and screening, you’ll play a critical role in refining our interview practices and recruitment processes.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers and executives across a flat organization, making relationship-building, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving essential to success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the recruitment process end-to-end for various roles, including managing external recruiting agencies.
  • Sourcing and Pipeline Management: Actively source and manage a strong pipeline of high-caliber candidates, using various sourcing strategies
  • Process Improvement: Refine interview best practices and operational processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience. Maintain organized and detailed records in our ATS (Greenhouse) and ensure clear, consistent communication across teams.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Track key metrics such as time-to-hire, source of hire, and candidate experience to improve recruitment practices.
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with hiring managers and executives to define role requirements, align on priorities, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Pika Ambassador: As the first contact many people have with our company, you'll be the person that makes the case for our company and gets candidates excited to work here.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Technical and Creative Recruiting: Experience recruiting for both technical roles (e.g., engineering) and creative functions, with a strong EQ around both
  • Process-Driven and Detail-Oriented: Passion for the small things like refining processes and tracking metrics. Proficient with ATS systems, including Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter, with the ability to quickly learn new tools as needed.
  • Scheduling Guru: You manipulate calendars like a Tetris champion. No amount of conflicts can strike fear in your heart.

Compensation

The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$210,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Finance Operations Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to oversee the execution of all payment and financial processes. You’ll manage billing operations, from vendor and contractor payments to employee reimbursements, while driving compliance and efficiency across expense policies, procurement, and payroll.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll also contribute to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. This role will report into our Head of Finance and Operations and work alongside her to drive execution to her vision of financial and operational workflows.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee billing operations, including timely payments to vendors, contractors, employees, and advisors.
  • Manage company-wide expense policies, approvals, and reconciliations to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Optimize procurement processes and vendor management to streamline purchasing and maintain budget alignment.
  • Administer payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Facilitate employee reimbursements, stipends, and perks with a focus on transparency and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, payroll, and/or financial operations.
  • Experience in a start up environment
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements for payroll and contractor payments.
  • Proficiency in financial platforms and tools for expense management and reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
